MachineSim

CNC Simulator · C# + WPF

MachineSim is a CNC milling machine simulator with no real-world purpose: it exists to show what C# and WPF can do. It simulates a 5-axis mill (X/Y/Z linear, A/C rotary) with a Fanuc-style G-code interpreter: G0/G1 moves, G2/G3 arcs, dwell, work offsets and tool changes, all fed through an interpolated ~60 Hz motion pipeline that can be paused and cancelled. The retro machine console gives you a jog pad with keyboard control, DRO displays, a spindle gauge, feed override, an XY tool-path trace, a tool library, work-offset teaching, a syntax-highlighted NC editor and a live event log. Built on .NET 9 with a strict MVVM architecture, DataTemplate-based view switching and a fully templated dark theme.
